ONE DAY SPONGE CAKE DECORATING COURSE - Introducing ganache and straight edges
This is an excellent course for beginners wanting to work on real cake. Learn how to divide, fill and ice your sponge cake to achieve a professional, smooth finish. We will be making ganache and finishing the cake with a straight edge finish. Then you’ll learn finishing touches including texturing, making ribbon and bows from mexican paste, the use of cutters and colouring. Lastly you’ll finish your cake with a wired burst in your choice of funky flowers or stars.
This course is held in our new teaching facility “The Studio”. Free Car parking is available very nearby. “The Studio” is situated within yards of the local Bus Station and Taxi Rank, with only a 5 minute walk to the Train Station.
This course is a day long course starting at 9:30am and finishing by around 16:00.

The course price includes everything you need to decorate your cake and even the box to take it home. We will provide all the ingredients, materials, use of all sugarcraft tools, equipment and refreshments. Course attendees will also receive 10% discount on items purchased in the cake decorating supplies shop on the day of your course.
